Hans von Storch, 德国气候学家,主要研究领域为气候、气候变化及其影响;发表了大量学术文章和论著,主要涉及自然科学,部分关于气候变化的认知、不同知识体系之间的差异以及科学、利益相关者和社会跨学科研究等社会科学问题。

Hans von Storch,亥姆霍兹.盖斯特哈赫特中心-海岸带研究所所长(该研究所位于德国汉堡附近)、德国汉堡大学气象系教授,并于2013年6月起担任中国海洋大学客座教授。从某种程度上来说,汉堡大学物理海洋学教授Jürgen Sündermann在上个世纪80年代开创了汉堡海洋学界与中国海洋大学交流合作的先河,Hans von Storch继承其“衣钵”,将两校之间的合作进一步向前推动。

Hans von Storch教授经常访问中国,主要走访的高校和研究所有中国海洋大学、中国科学院海洋研究所、中国科学院海岸带研究所、中国气象科学研究院、华东师范大学河口海岸带重点实验室以及中国科学院南海海洋研究所。目前,已经指导5名博士研究生,其中陈飞、夏兰、李德磊和张萌四人已获得博士学位;唐声全在读,该生研究并验证了区域海洋也存在内部变率,并且具有重要意义。主要中方合作伙伴有青岛中国科学院海洋研究所 崔茂常 和中国科学院南京地理研究所刘健(详见下表)。

中国情缘

  • Grandparents in about 19081908 年, Hans von Storch 的外祖父Eberhard von Werthern 和外祖母 Anni von Viebahn 来到中国为英国浸信会宣教,并在济南府生活四年;当时, Hans 的外祖父 是位医生,详细内容在法思远主编、上海 广学会 1912 年出版的《中国的圣省山东》中有所记载( Shantung - the Sacred Province of China - In some of its aspects compiled and edited by Robert Coventry Forsyth, English Baptist Mission, Shantung, China )。 Hans 的姨妈 Gisela 和 Barbara 都出生在济南府。
